Clay Guida will face Erik Koch at UFC Fight Night 112 in Oklahoma City on June 25.
The lightweight bout was announced during UFC Tonight on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night 112 takes place at Chesapeake Energy Arena and features a featherweight duel between B.J. Penn and Dennis Siver. A headliner for the card has not been confirmed.
Guida fought just once in 2016, losing to Brian Ortega via first-round knockout at UFC 199 last June. “The Carpenter” has lost three of his last four in the Octagon overall, with his most recent triumph coming against Robbie Peralta at UFC Fight Night 63 in April 2015.
Koch, meanwhile, returned from a two-year hiatus at UFC Fight Night 88 last May, when he submitted Shane Campbell with a rear-naked choke at the 3:02 mark of round two. The World Extreme Cagefighting veteran is 4-3 during his tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
