Less than a week removed from his last bout,
Rich Clementi (Pictures) has already found his next opponent.
The UFC on Tuesday announced the Louisianan lightweight will replace Rob Emerson, forced out of his bout due to an undisclosed injury, on its May 24 card in Las Vegas headlined by
B.J. Penn (Pictures) and
Sean Sherk (Pictures).
Clementi will step in on short notice against once-beaten UK up-and-comer
Terry Etim (Pictures).
Fighting Saturday on the undercard of UFC's card in Montreal, Clementi took a split-decision victory over
Sam Stout (Pictures). The bout was Clementi's fifth win in a row, and the third in the Octagon over that stretch. "No Love" has also taken victories over
Anthony Johnson and
Melvin Guillard (Pictures) in that span.
Etim last saw action in September when his undefeated mark was halted at 10-0 after dropping a unanimous decision to Brazilian
Gleison Tibau (Pictures).
