A veteran of 18 Octagon appearances, Miller’s last bout against Jim Alers at UFC on Fox 17 ended in a no contest due to an accidental eye poke by Alers in the second round. Miller’s only other appearance of 2015 resulted in a unanimous decision loss to Max Holloway at UFC Fight Night “Henderson vs. Thatch” in February.
Penn recently announced his decision to come out of retirement and has been training at Jackson-Wink MMA in Albuquerque, N.M., in preparation for his return. The former two-division champion last competed at “The Ultimate Fighter 19” finale in July 2014, when he suffered a third-round technical knockout loss to Frankie Edgar.
