Combate Americas Announces ‘Combate Clasico’ Event Will Stream on ESPN3
Combate Americas announced on Wednesday that it has teamed up with
Relevent Sports to host “Combate Clasico,” a live MMA event that
will stream on ESPN3 and via the ESPN app. The event will take
place July 27 at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT from inside Mana Wynwood in
Miami, Fla.
“Combate Clasico” will be one of the staples of a nearly week-long sports and entertainment festival that will feature concerts, parties, soccer matches and other festivities. The main event of “Combate Clasico” will be a 160-pound catchweight battle between Tommy Aaron and Javier Fuentes.
The co-feature of the event will see Kyra Batara taking on Vanesa Rico in an atomweight showdown, while Ricky Palacios will lock horns with fellow featherweight Chris Avila. Several additional bouts will be announced soon.
