The one-night, eight-man tournament will be the first of its kind in the California. The winner of the featherweight bracket will receive a $100,000 prize. The tournament will take place 25 years after the UFC held its inaugural event in 1993.

“This is the way I started the UFC 25 years ago — an 8-man tournament — the toughest challenge in sports, and now it’s coming to Fresno and the great state of California for the first time in history,” said Combate Americas CEO and UFC co-founder Campbell McLaren.

Four of the eight competitors for the bracket were revealed on Tuesday: Andres Quintana, Alejandro Flores, Gaston Reyno and Zebenzui Ruiz. The remaining four fighters will be announced soon.

Copa Combate streams on DAZN and will air on Univision and the Univision Deportes Network. The initial Combate Americas tournament took place at bantamweight last November, and Levy Marroquin emerged as the $100,000 prize winner.
