Combate Americas Weigh-in Results: All Eight ‘Copa Combate’ Tournament Participants Cleared

A six-figure payday hangs in the balance in the Combate Americas “Copa Combate” bantamweight tournament on Saturday at Grand Oasis Cancun in Cancun, Mexico. All eight participants in the one-night competition met their mandated weight requirements at Friday’s official weigh-in.

Combate Americas “Copa Combate” -- which airs live on Telemundo and the NBC Sports Network at 11:30 p.m. ET/10:30 p.m. PT -- will kick off with four tournament quarterfinals: Michael Erosa (135.5) vs. Marcelo Rojo (135.7), Levy Saul Marroquin Salazar (136) vs. Carlos Rivera (136), John Castaneda (135.9) vs. Kevin Moreyra (135.7) and Marc Gomez (135) vs. Alejandro Abomohor (135.5).

The tournament winner will be awarded a $100,000 prize.
