Conor McGregor Opens as Betting Favorite Against Jose Aldo in Fresh UFC 194 Odds

The line has been set.

Online sportsbook is accepting wagers pertaining to the Dec. 12 UFC 194 main event, and Ultimate Fighting Championship interim featherweight ace Conor McGregor has been pegged as the early favorite over divisional ruler Jose Aldo.

Structured as a money-line game, McGregor started the day as a -190 favorite (10/19). For the layperson, that means a player would need to put up $190 to win $100. Adversely, Aldo opened at +155. That equates to a $155 purse if $100 is laid.

Anyone interested in the line should be aware that the odds will change in either direction as the fight approaches, as the sportsbook will attempt to even the playing field and spread wagers on both sides as to cover its risk.

McGregor (18-2, 16 KOs) and Aldo (25-1, 14 KOs) were originally set to square off at UFC 189 on July 11, but a rib injury prevented the Brazilian from competing. Chad Mendes took the challenge on short notice and was dispatched of by the Irishman with second-round punches.

UFC 194: Conor McGregor vs. Jose Aldo Odds

McGregor -190 (10/19)
Aldo +155 (31/20)
