Just waiting on him! . “ I know a guy”

Earlier this week, Donald Cerrone posted on Instagram that he was interested in fighting former two-divisional champion Conor McGregor at 155 pounds.

Cerrone, who broke two records over the weekend with his slick submission over Mike Perry -- making himself the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s all-time leader in wins as well as finishes -- told color commentator Joe Rogan after the fight that he would be looking to return to the 155 pound division.

McGregor, who is coming off a loss to the lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 has not responded to the call out. However, despite the fight not being confirmed yet, betting site Bovada.lv has listed Cerrone as the +150 underdog and McGregor as the -185 favorite.

The UFC is unlikely to book McGregor until his hearing with the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) next month for his involvement in the mass brawl that broke out after his loss to Nurmagomedov at UFC 229.
