‘Cyborgs’ Bare All in ESPN Photo Spread

Strikeforce women's middleweight champion Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos and her husband Evangelista will be featured in ESPN Magazine's second-annual “Body Issue.”

The issue, which will hit newsstands Friday, features athletes from a myriad of sports posing either nude or semi-nude, often times participating in the sport that made them famous. The issue will be released with multiple different covers, starring WNBA All-Star guard Diana Taurasi, newly-signed New York Knick Amar'e Stoudemire and Team USA goalie Tim Howard.

The husband and wife fighting duo appear totally nude in the magazine, with only strategic hand and body placement covering their unmentionables. Evangelista is a Pride veteran and is most recently coming off a knockout victory over Lithuanian striker Marius Zaromskis in June. Cristiane's last fight ended in victory for the champion, as she defended her title by knocking out Jan Finney, also in June. Though defeated in her first fight, she has since won 10 straight. She became the first Strikeforce women's middleweight champion in 2009, when she knocked out fighter-turned-actress Gina Carano in the first round. Coincidentally, Carano appeared in last year's “Body Issue.”

Also featured in the issue is former NFL Pro-Bowler and current Strikeforce fighter Herschel Walker. The 48-year-old tae kwon do black belt looks to be representing no sport in particular, as he's simply leaning at an angle, with no football or MMA contraband in sight. Walker's embryonic MMA career is off to a successful start, as he won his Strikeforce debut in January, earning a unanimous decision over Greg Nagy. Walker will compete in his second MMA fight at Strikeforce “Henderson vs. Babalu” on Dec. 4 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. His opponent has yet to be announced.

The photos are currently available for viewing on ESPN.com in advance of the issue's release.
