Damacio Page will defend his flyweight title against Matt Schnell in the Legacy Fighting Championship 52 headliner on March 25.
The Texas-based promotion recently announced the pairing. Legacy FC 52 takes place at the Golden Nugget Casino in Lake Charles, La., and airs on AXS-TV at 10 p.m. ET.
Page saw a three-fight winning streak halted at AXS TV Fights “RFA vs. Legacy Superfight” last May, when he was submitted by Alexandre Pantoja in the second-round of their encounter. The UFC and WEC veteran is 4-0 under the Legacy banner, with all of his triumphs coming inside the distance. Page captured the organization’s flyweight strap with a first-round knockout of Brian Hall in October 2014.
Schnell will carry a five-bout winning streak into his matchup with Page, although his most recent triumph over Jonathon Martinez at Legacy FC 49 came via disqualification due to an illegal knee. Schnell is 8-2 as a professional, including a 4-2 mark with Legacy.
