Dan Argueta stayed undefeated after his first Legacy Fighting Alliance main event atop the LFA 123 card.
The co-main event saw Askar Askar gain some pivotal momentum at bantamweight. "AK-47" was able to outstrike Ryskulbek Ibraimov over three rounds with neither fighter ever being in danger of being finished. The work of Askar (13-2) on the feet led to three 29-28 scorecards in his favor. Ibraimov falls to 19-10 with the defeat.
Josh Streacker hurt Miguel Jacob Elmokdisi with punches early in their 157-pound catchweight bout but wasn't able to put his opponent away in Round 1. What followed was a back-and-forth battle on the feet that saw each fighter have their moments in the final two frames with Elmokdisi (5-2) landing damaging kicks. The judges ultimately favored the work of Streacker (8-4), who took a split decision with scores of 28-29, 30-27 and 29-28.
Flyweight prospect Cody Davis picked up a dominant unanimous decision over Payton Brezinski. The superior ground game of Davis (5-0) shined as he nearly locked in several rear-naked chokes over the 15-minute fight. While Brezinski (4-2) survived, he never had any momentum in the fight. Scorecards were 30-26, 30-27 and 30-27 in the favor of Davis.
Logan Nail delivered a decisive finish against Halston Williams in the main card's lone light heavyweight bout. Nail (3-2) landed a crushing overhand right and then finished off Williams (1-2) with a series of punches. The stoppage came at 1:11 of Round 1.
The main card's first bout pitted featherweights Alberto Rodriguez and Beau Samaniego up against one another. As the fight continued, Samaniego (3-1) managed to break away and dictate the fight positionally while Rodriguez (3-2) struggled to put anything together. After three rounds of action, the judges awarded Samaniego a unanimous decision with scores of 30-26, 30-27 and 29-28.
In preliminary action, Kevin Fernandez (3-0) stayed undefeated as a professional and took a unanimous decision over Cody Linne (2-1); Gabriel Mota knocked out Tyler Hufnagle in just 18 seconds with a punch; and Justin Lovrich submitted Aleksander Keca with a rear-naked choke at 3:24 of Round 1.
