CM Punk will hold his first mixed martial arts training camp at Roufusport, UFC President Dana White revealed Tuesday on Fox Sports Live.

“He’s now picked a training camp,” White said. “I’m pretty sure that he’s gonna start training with Anthony Pettis, the 155-pound champion, and his team.”

The Milwaukee-based gym is co-owned by Duke Roufus and Pettis and is home to a number of notable names including Ben Askren, Sergio Pettis, Erik Koch, Rick Glenn and Dustin Ortiz, to name a few.

Punk, whose given name is Phil Brooks, is from Chicago, which is less than 100 miles away from Roufusport. The former WWE star has not announced the weight class in which he will compete, and a date for his Octagon debut remains unknown.

“We’re just gonna see how he progresses in training, and then we’ll go from there,” White said.
