A welterweight bout pitting Danny Roberts against Bobby Nash has been added to the UFC Fight Night 113 lineup.
Promotion officials announced the pairing on Thursday. UFC Fight Night 113 takes place at the SSE Hydro Arena in Glasgow, Scotland on July 16. The evening’s main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1. A headliner for the event has not yet been announced.
Roberts saw a seven-fight winning streak come to an end in his last outing at UFC 204, when he was knocked out in the third round by Mike Perry. The Cage Warriors Fighting Championship veteran began his Octagon tenure with back-to-back triumphs over Nathan Coy and Dominique Steele. “Hot Chocolate” owns a 13-2 career mark, with 10 victories inside the distance.
Nash, meanwhile, came up short in his promotional debut, as he was knocked out in the second round by Jingliang Li at UFC on Fox 23 on Jan. 28. Prior to that defeat, the East Lansing, Mich., native had won six straight fights while competing for various promotions on the regional circuit.
