A welterweight clash pitting Darren Till against Jessin Ayari has been added to the UFC Fight Night 109 lineup.
Promotion officials confirmed the pairing on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 109 takes place at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm on May 28 and is headlined by a light heavyweight duel between Alexander Gustafsson and Glover Teixeira. The evening’s main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
The 24-year-old Till returns to the Octagon for the first time since battling Nicolas Dalby to a draw at UFC Fight Night 76 on Oct. 24, 2015. The Englishman is unbeaten in 14 professional appearances, including a second-round knockout of Wendell de Oliveira Marques in his promotional debut at UFC Fight Night 67.
Ayari, meanwhile, enters the matchup on a seven-fight winning streak. “Abacus” made his first Octagon foray at UFC Fight Night 93, where he garnered a split decision against Jim Wallhead. The 24-year-old German is 16-3 as a professional overall.
