A pair of new bouts have been added to the UFC’s Sept. 3 trip to Hamburg, Germany.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced Friday that Germaine de Randamie will lock horns with Ashlee Evans-Smith at bantamweight, while Taylor Lapilus will meet Leandro Issa at bantamweight at the event, which takes place at the Barclaycard Arena. UFC Fight Night is headlined by a heavyweight duel pitting Andrei Arlovski against Josh Barnett.
De Randamie has won two straight fights, stopping both Larissa Pacheco and Anna Emose via KO/TKO to improve her promotional mark to 3-1. After falling to Raquel Pennington in her debut, Evans-Smith garnered a split verdict over Marion Reneau on Feb. 21 for her first Octagon triumph.
Lapilus began his promotional tenure with two straight victories but fell to Erik Perez via unanimous decision in his last outing at UFC Fight Night “Magny vs. Gastelum” on Nov. 21. Issa, meanwhile, hasn’t fought since August 2015, when he suffered a decision defeat to Iuri Alcantara at UFC 190.
