“The Notorious” one impressed many observers in his first professional boxing match by making it to the 10th frame — and winning some rounds along the way — against one the sport’s pound-for-pound greats. That effort drew praise and attention from many prominent figures, and his willingness to venture outside his craft has prompted a playful callout from decorated Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps.
“All of this talk….should we race as well??” Phelps wrote on Twitter while posting a photo of he and McGregor facing off in swimming caps and goggles.

Phelps, who has 28 Olympic medals to his credit, recently had a simulated race against a great white shark, so he isn’t completely unfamiliar to unusual challenges. On Saturday, when Mayweather stopped McGregor via TKO in the 10th round of their 154-pound bout at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Phelps offered praise for both men.
50-0.....wow
