Jon Fitch has a new opponent for the World Series Of Fighting 11 co-headliner.

Sherdog.com confirmed with WSOF officials that Dennis Hallman will replace the injured Josh Burkman and face Fitch on July 5. MMAFighting.com first reported the change.

Hallman was scheduled to take part in Battleground MMA’s one-night welterweight tournament on June 27, but the UFC veteran told MMAFighting that he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to fight Fitch. Hallmann enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak, most recently submitting Aleksey Shapovalov in December.

WSOF 11 takes place at the Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla., and features a lightweight title bout between Justin Gaethje and Nick Newell. The main card will air on NBC beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
