The news was first announced on Fox Sports 1, with “stomach issues” cited as the reason for Brunson’s withdrawal.

“Got food poisoning, threw up [three] times today [and] had an upset stomach,” Brunson wrote. “I will not be fighting tonight. Sorry guys, I’ll be getting rescheduled soon.”
Brunson, 30, is 3-1 in the Octagon, with his lone defeat coming at
the hands of Yoel Romero this past January. In his most recent
outing, the Jackson-Wink MMA product outpointed Lorenz Larkin at
UFC 177.
A veteran of “The Ultimate Fighter 3,” Herman is 9-6 in 15 promotional appearances. “Short Fuse” last appeared at UFC Fight Night “Brown vs. Silva” in May, when he took a unanimous decision over Rafael Natal.
