Derrick Lewis did not escape his UFC Fight Night 126 encounter with Marcin Tybura unscathed.

The heavyweight revealed via Instagram on Wednesday that he has a fourth metacarpal fracture in his hand – the bone in his ring finger. Lewis also posted a video of a doctor injecting his injured hand.

“Damn that s—t hurts,” Lewis wrote.

Lewis defeated Tybura via third-round knockout at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas on Sunday night. “The Black Beast” has won seven of his last eight Octagon appearances overall. After the victory, Lewis targeted bouts against the likes of Francis Ngannou, Fabricio Werdum, or Curtis Blaydes.
