Desmond Green to Meet Michel Prazeres at UFC Fight Night 125

Desmond Green will square off against Michel Prazeres in a lightweight bout at UFC Fight Night 125.

Multiple outlets confirmed the pairing following an initial report from MMA Brasil. UFC Fight Night 125 takes place in Belem, Brazil, on Feb. 3 and is headlined by a middleweight clash between Lyoto Machida and Eryk Anders.

Green had a five-bout winning streak snapped in his most recent outing, as he suffered a unanimous decision loss to Rustam Khabilov at UFC Fight Night 115. “The Predator” owns a 20-6 career mark that includes stints in Bellator MMA and Titan FC.

The 36-year-old Prazeres has quietly compiled a five-fight winning streak in the Octagon. Most recently, “Trator” submitted Mads Burnell with a north-south choke at UFC Fight Night 115, his second consecutive victory via that maneuver. Prazeres is 23-2 as a pro and 7-2 in the UFC.
