A welterweight clash between Dhiego Lima and Pawel Pawlak will go down when the UFC heads to Uberlandia, Brazil, on Nov. 8.
The promotion announced the booking on Wednesday. UFC Fight Night "Shogun vs. Manuwa" takes place at the Tancredo Neves Municipal Gymnasium and is headlined by a light heavyweight tilt between Mauricio Rua and Jimi Manuwa.
Lima’s Octagon debut came at “The Ultimate Fighter 19” finale, where he suffered a first-round knockout to Eddie Gordon in the show’s middleweight final. The American Top Team Atlanta product will return to 170 pounds for his sophomore outing with the Las Vegas-based promotion.
Pawlak, meanwhile, suffered the first loss of his pro career at UFC Fight Night “Munoz vs. Mousasi,” dropping a unanimous verdict to Peter Sobotta on May 31. Nine of the 25-year-old Pole’s 10 career victories have come inside the distance.
