Dmitriy Sosnovskiy Out, Azunna Anyanwu In Versus Justin Ledet at UFC Fight Night 116

Another Dana White's Tuesday Night Contenders Series veteran is bound for the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Due to an undisclosed injury, undefeated Ukrainian Dmitriy Sosnovskiy has pulled out of his bout this coming Saturday at UFC Fight Night 116 with fellow unbeaten Justin Ledet. Sosnovskiy will now be replaced by DWTNCS veteran Azunna Anyanwu.

Anyanwu's teammate Erik Purcell first announced the news on Twitter and it was subsequently confirmed by the promotion. This is the second time that a proposed Ledet-Sosnovskiy bout has fallen apart. The two prospects were scheduled to meet at UFC Fight Night 104 this past February, but Ledet was injured in camp, canceling the bout.

UFC Fight Night 116 emanates from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Penn., and its main card, headlined by a middleweight clash between Luke Rockhold and David Branch, airs live on Fox Sports 1.

The 36-year-old Anyanwu, a mainstay of Cage Fury Fighting Championships, has won seven of his last bouts and five straight. His last win came via second-round knockout over fellow northeastern regional staple Greg Rebello at the first Dana White's Contender Series card on July 11.

Ledet, 28, has won both of his first two Octagon appearances. In his promotional debut in August of last year, he won a 15-minute decision over Chase Sherman, then choked out England's Mark Godbeer last November in just over two minutes.
