Bellator MMA welterweight champion Douglas Lima has been forced out of his Bellator 134 co-main event bout against Paul Daley due to injury. As a result, Andre Santos will fill in against “Semtex” on short notice.

Promotion officials confirmed the new matchup with Sherdog.com on Wednesday. Bellator 134 takes place on Feb. 27 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., and features a 205-pound title tilt between champion Emanuel Newton and tournament winner Liam McGeary.

Daley, 31, will be returning to fight under the Bellator banner for the first time since finishing Rudy Bears via technical knockout at Bellator 72. Since then, the former Strikeforce competitor has won five of his last six bouts, all by knockout. Daley’s Bellator return was delayed due to visa issues.

A veteran of 46 fights, Santos enters the bout on a six-fight winning streak. “Chatuba,” who has competed professionally since 2006, defeated James Terry via unanimous decision in his promotional debut at Bellator 129.. Twenty-two of the Brazilian’s 37 wins have come by way of submission.
