Edwards is set to take on fellow UFC veteran Derek Noble at
MFC
24 on Feb. 26 in Edmonton, and the American Top Team
lightweight says he is readying for a return to the upper echelon
of the 155-pound division.
Edwards has picked up a pair on wins in his last two fights, but the man many viewed as one of the top contenders for the UFC lightweight belt before the weight division was temporarily dissolved in 2004 still has a lot of work to accomplish if he wants to claw his way back into top-10 consideration.
He will take the next step against the scrappy Noble, who won two fights since dropping his bout for the MFC lightweight title to eventual champion Antonio McKee.
Check out this video interview to hear Edwards discuss his evolution since joining his new team and his goals and aspirations as a mixed martial artist.
