The lineup for UFC Fight Night 108 continues to grow, as a pair of bouts were recently revealed for the April 22 event in Nashville.
The Los Angeles Daily News confirmed a welterweight clash between Jake Ellenberger and Mike Perry, while the promotion announced a lightweight scrap pitting Bryan Barberena against Joe Proctor. UFC Fight Night 108 takes place at Bridgestone Arena and is headlined by a featherweight tilt between Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov.
Ellenberger, 31, has won just twice in his last eight Octagon appearances and is coming off a first-round technical knockout defeat at the hands of Jorge Masvidal at “The Ultimate Fighter 24” finale on Dec. 3. After winning his first nine professional bouts, including two in the Las Vegas-based promotion, Perry tasted defeat for the first time at UFC on Fox 22, dropping a unanimous decision to Alan Jouban.
Barberena had a two-bout winning streak snapped at UFC on Fox 22, as he lost a unanimous verdict against Colby Covington. Proctor, meanwhile, returns to action after not competing at all in 2016. He last fought at UFC 194, where he suffered a first-round TKO loss to Magomed Mustafaev.
