The Ultimate Fighting Championship has added an intriguing lightweight contest to its growing UFC 195 card.
Once viewed as an elite prospect, Roufusport slugger Erik Koch will look to right the ship against Nebraskan Drew Dober.
Koch, 14-4, has lost three of his last four and suffered two knockouts in his slide. The 26-year-old native Iowan has finished 11 of his opponents: seven by submission and four by knockout.
Dober (15-7, 1 NC) also has fallen on hard times, as he only has one victory in four Octagon appearances. Like Koch, the 26-year old is likely fighting for his roster spot once the cage door closes on Jan. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
UFC 195 will be headlined by a welterweight title fight pitting champion Robbie Lawler against challenger Carlos Condit.
