Cat Zingano should be returning to the Octagon in the very near future.

The former UFC women’s bantamweight title challenger announced via Instagram that she has a date and opponent for her next fight, although she did not reveal specifics. Zingano hasn’t competed since a unanimous decision loss to Julianna Pena at UFC 200 in July 2016.

“I have who. I have where. I know when. It’s time,” Zingano wrote.

The 35-year-old Colorado native has fought just once per year since 2011. She debuted in the UFC with back-to-back TKO victories against Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes before falling to Ronda Rousey in just 14 seconds in a 135-pound title bout at UFC 184. “Alpha” is 9-2 as a professional overall.
