A featherweight matchup between Clay Guida and Robbie Peralta will go down at UFC Fight Night in Fairfax, Va., on April 4.

Promotion officials announced the pairing on Thursday. In addition, Justin Jones will square off against Ron Stallings in a middleweight clash. UFC Fight Night "Mendes vs. Lamas" takes place at the Patriot Center and is headlined by a 145-pound tilt pitting Chad Mendes against Ricardo Lamas.

After a lengthy stint at 155 pounds, Guida dropped to featherweight in 2013. He has gone 2-2 in the division, with wins over Hatsu Hioki and Tatsuya Kawajiri and losses to Mendes and Dennis Bermudez. “The Carpenter” also owns notable triumphs over Anthony Pettis, Rafael dos Anjos, Takanori Gomi and Nate Diaz during his Octagon tenure.

Peralta, meanwhile, is coming off a first-round rear-naked choke loss to Thiago Tavares at UFC Fight Night “Bader vs. St. Preux” this past August. That defeat halted a two-fight winning streak for “Problems,” who had bested Estevan Payan and Rony Mariano Bezerra in his previous two outings.

Both Jones and Stallings recently made their promotional debuts on short notice, with Jones dropping a three-round verdict to Corey Anderson at UFC 181 and Stallings losing to Uriah Hall via first-round doctor stoppage at UFC Fight Night in Boston.
