A strawweight clash pitting Felice Herrig against Karolina Kowalkiewicz is set for UFC 223.

Herrig confirmed the pairing via Instagram following reports from multiple outlets. UFC 223 takes place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., on April 7 and is headlined by a lightweight championship clash between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Herrig enters the matchup on a four-fight winning streak. Most recently, the Team Curran representative garnered a split verdict over Cortney Casey-Sanchez at UFC 218 on Dec. 2. “Lil Bulldog” has also bested Justine Kish, Alexa Grasso and Kailin Curran during her current tear.

A former strawweight title challenger, Kowalkiewicz ended a two-bout skid at UFC Fight Night 118, when she took a unanimous decision over Jodie Esquibel. The 32-year-old Poland native is 11-2 as a professional, with her only two defeats coming to Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Claudia Gadelha.

It’s official. I will face Karolina Kowalkiewicz April 7 in Brooklyn NY on #ufc223 I’m super pumped because I’ve been asking to face a top 10 fighter for a while but keep getting the toughest fighters just out of the top 10. This is the match up I asked for. ask and you shall receive. I’m excited to show people what I can do against a step up in competition . I’m well aware that I will be the underdog in this fight which is ok with me. I’ve been the underdog most of my career and I thrive off of it. Bring it on. I’ll be ready
