HOLLYWOOD, Fla. -- The Bellator Summer Series will have its second leg on July 23 at Casino Rama in Rama, Ontario, Canada. When the final four 145-pounders in the bracket meet in the cage, it will be Ronnie Mann meeting former Bellator lightweight tournament winner Pat Curran, and Marlon Sandro vs. Nazareno Malegarie.
Bellator CEO Bjorn Rebney announced the tournament semifinals at the Bellator 46 postfight press conference inside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.

Sandro, seen as an early favorite in the tournament, took a well-deserved split decision over fellow Rio de Janeiro native Genair da Silva. The 34-year-old former Sengoku featherweight champion had stopped his previous five victims.
Malegarie, an Argentinian based in Brazil, showed off his dominant grappling, threatening Jacob Devree with a plethora of submissions until getting the tapout with an arm-in guillotine in the third round.
In addition to the tournament semifinals, Bellator 47 will also feature the featherweight championship rematch between champion Joe Warren and challenger Patricio “Pitbull” Freire.
