Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao Tickets will Range From $1500-$7500

LOS ANGELES -- Carefully placed at the conclusion of today’s press conference for Floyd Mayweather Jr. against Manny Pacquiao, was the news that ticket prices for the May 2 event will range from $1500 to $7500.

The highly anticipated boxing match will emanate from the 16,000-seat MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and air on pay-per-view for around $100.

After Mayweather, Pacquiao and various officials had taken the podium, Mayweather Promotion’s CEO Leonard Ellerbe made the announcement that due to the high demand for tickets, the lowest price point to attend would be $1,500.

More details about tickets will be revealed in the coming days via press release.

Pacquiao was last in action against Chris Algieri in Macau, China, easily dispelling of the New York native via unanimous decision to win his third consecutive fight. Mayweather hasn’t been in the ring since his rematch against Marcos Maidana in September.
