A flyweight bout pitting John Lineker against Phil Harris has been added to the growing UFC Fight Night 30 lineup.
The promotion’s United Kingdom branch announced the booking on Friday. UFC Fight Night 30 takes place on Oct. 26 at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England, and is headlined by a middleweight clash between Michael Bisping and Mark Munoz.
Despite missing weight, Lineker earned his third consecutive win inside the Octagon on Aug. 3, as he stopped Jose Maria Tome with punches 1:03 into the second round at UFC 163. The 23-year-old Brazilian also owns Octagon triumphs over Yasuhiro Urushitani and Azamat Gashimov. “Hands of Stone” debuted with the promotion at UFC on Fox 3, losing to Louis Gaudinot via guillotine choke in the second frame.
A 33-fight veteran, Harris has split a pair of UFC appearances. The 30-year-old Englishman was submitted by Darren Uyenoyama at UFC on FX 5 before outpointing Ulysses Gomez in London this past February.
