Flyweights Kristina Williams, Emily Ducote to Clash at Bellator 195 on March 2

Kristina Williams will face Emily Ducote at Bellator 195 in Thackerville, Okla., on March 2.

Williams confirmed the flyweight pairing via Twitter following an initial report from MMAjunkie.com. Bellator 195 takes place at Winstar World Casino and Resort and is headlined by a bantamweight championship tilt between Darrion Caldwell and Leandro Higo. The evening’s main card will be televised on the Paramount Network.

Williams made a splash in her Bellator MMA debut, as she battered professional boxing champion Heather Hardy en route to a second-round doctor’s stoppage. Prior to that, the Oklahoma native took a unanimous decision over Rachel Young in an amateur contest at LFA 9.

Ducote, meanwhile, suffered a fifth-round submission defeat against Ilima Lei-Macfarlane in a bout for the inaugural women’s flyweight crown at Bellator 186 in her most recent outing. “Gordinha” owns a significant experience edge over her opponent, with a 6-3 career mark that includes a 4-2 record in Bellator.
