Thanks to more Henry Cejudo weight-cutting issues, Scott Jorgensen didn’t get a chance to fight at UFC 177.
In addition to paying him his show and win bonus for that night, the Las Vegas-based promotion is getting “Young Guns” back to work as soon as possible, as he will face Wilson Reis at UFC 179 on Oct. 25. The UFC’s Brazilian branch announced the pairing on Tuesday.

The 31-year-old Jorgensen is 1-2 since moving to flyweight. After falling to Zach Makvosky and Jussier da Silva in his first two 125-pound appearances, the Idaho native outpointed Danny Martinez in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night “Henderson vs. Khabilov.”
A longtime Bellator veteran, Reis is 2-1 in the Octagon, falling to Iuri Alcantara while posting triumphs over Ivan Menjivar and Joby Sanchez.
