Fodor Leads Strikeforce Challengers 16 Paydays

AMC Pankration standout Caros Fodor earned an event-high $16,000 for his unanimous decision victory over James Terry ($4,000) in the Strikeforce Challengers 16 headliner, according to numbers released by the Washington State Department of Licensing.

Co-main event competitor Ryan Couture earned second place on the pay scale, as the son of “The Natural” took home $10,000 in defeat to undefeated lightweight Matt Ricehouse ($6,000).

Strikeforce Challengers 16 went down June 24 from the ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash., and aired live on Showtime, delayed on the west coast. The event's main draw featured no finishes, as Lorenz Larkin ($8,000) outpointed Gian Villante ($5,000), while Jason High ($6,000) and Julia Budd ($5,000) were awarded unanimous verdicts over Quinn Mulhern ($2,500) and Germaine de Randamie ($2,500), respectively.
