Sherdog.com confirmed the news with a promotion official Thursday following an initial report from MMAFighting.com. A date for Lahat’s Bellator debut will be announced in the coming weeks.
Lahat went 2-2 during a brief stint with the UFC. After suffering a knockout loss to Godofredo Castro in his Octagon debut, “Neo” posted back-to-back triumphs over Steven Siler and Niklas Backstrom. Most recently, the American Kickboxing Academy product suffered a second-round KO loss to Diego Rivas at UFC Fight Night “Hendricks vs. Thompson” on Feb. 6.
Lahat owns a 9-2 career mark, with six of those triumphs coming inside the distance.
