Gabriel Benitez will lock horns with Andre Fili at UFC Fight Night "Brown vs. Gastelum" on Nov. 21.
Promotion officials announced the featherweight bout on Thursday. The UFC Fight Night card takes place at the Monterrey Arena in Monterrey, Mexico and is headlined by a welterweight showdown between Matt Brown and Kelvin Gastelum.
A native of Tijuana, Mexico, Benitez has scored triumphs over Humberto Brown Morrison and Clay Collard in his first two Octagon appearances, both of which occurred in Mexico City. The 27-year-old has won his last four fights overall and owns an 18-4 career mark.
Fili, meanwhile, has alternated wins and losses since his promotional debut in October 2013. Most recently, the Team Alpha Male product fell victim to a Godofredo Castro triangle choke in the opening frame of their encounter at UFC Fight Night “Maia vs. LaFlare” on March 21.
