In addition to Yushin Okami fighting David Branch for the World Series of Fighting middleweight title at WSOF 15, the promotion has announced two more title fights for Nov. 15.
Lightweight champ Justin Gaethje will defend his title against Melvin Guillard, while women's strawweight champ Jessica Aguilar will fight Kalindra Faria. The card takes place at USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Fla., and will be televised by NBC Sports Network.
Gaethje is coming off a technical knockout victory against Nick Newell in July. The 25-year-old will look to remain undefeated against former a Ultimate Fighting Championship competitor in Guillard. “The Young Assassin” is also coming off a TKO victory at WSOF 11, his first fight under the WSOF banner.
Aguilar has not lost since her last fight for Bellator MMA in 2010, rallying off nine consecutive victories, with wins against the likes of Carla Esparza and Megumi Fuji, twice. “Jag” captured the inaugural 115-pound title against Alida Gray at WSOF 8 in January. Faria will be making her promotional debut after fighting almost exclusively in her native country of Brazil. She too is in the midst of a winning streak, emerging victorious from her last 11 outings.
