Germaine De Randamie Out, Veronica Macedo in to Face Ashlee Evans-Smith

It looks like Ashlee Evans-Smith won’t be fighting Germaine de Randamie at UFC Fight Night “Arlovski vs. Barnett” after all.

Both fighters announced via their social media platforms that de Randamie has pulled out of the Sep. 3 event in Hamburg, Germany, due to a foot injury while training. Though both combatants revealed the situation and Evans-Smith used Facebook to announce that Veronica Macedo will serve as a late replacement, Ultimate Fighting Championship officials have yet to officially announce the change.

UFC Fight Night 93 will go down inside the Barclaycard Arena and will be anchored by an intriguing heavyweight showdown between former UFC champs Andrei Arlovski and Josh Barnett. Alexander Gustafsson will take on Jan Blachowicz in the co-feature while Ryan Bader will oppose Ilir Latifi.
