Jorge Masvidal has been forced to withdraw from his bout against Norman Parke at UFC Fight Night “McGregor vs. Siver” due to a back injury. Gleison Tibau has been pegged to step in on short notice.

Ultimate Fighting Championship announced the change on Wednesday. The card takes place at TD Garden in Boston and is headlined by a featherweight clash between Conor McGregor and Dennis Siver. Lightweights Eddie Alvarez and Benson Henderson will square off in the evening’s co-main event.

Parke has not lost a fight since 2010 and holds a record of 4-0-1 under the UFC banner. “Stormin’ Norman” was scheduled to fight Diego Sanchez at UFC 180, but the 27-year-old was forced to bow out with an injury of his own.

A winner of back-to-back fights, Tibau will compete on Jan. 18 for the 43rd time in his professional career. The American Top Team member has won nearly half of his 32 fights by way of the judges’ scorecards.
