Glory 19 Weigh-in Results: Verhoeven, Zimmerman Official for Heavyweight Title Bout
The heavyweight title clash between Rico Verhoeven and Errol Zimmerman is now official for Glory 19, as both fighters hit their marks at Thursday’s weigh-ins.
Verhoeven weighed 252 pounds, while Zimmerman checked in a 247 pounds ahead of their headlining bout, which takes place at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Va., on Friday night. The Glory 19 six-bout main card airs live on Spike TV beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.

The reigning Glory heavyweight king, Verhoeven defeated Daniel Ghita at Glory 17 “Los Angeles” to capture the promotion’s title. The 25-year-old Dutchman is 44-10 with 10 KO/TKO victories to his credit.
Zimmerman, meanwhile, earned his shot at the belt by besting Ben Edwards and Anderson Silva in a one-night, heavyweight tournament at Glory 16 in Denver this past May.
