The California State Athletic Commission released a full list of medical suspensions to MMAFighting.com on Wednesday. Golden Boy MMA took place at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on Nov. 24 and aired on pay-per-view. Ortiz knocked out Liddell 4:24 into the opening stanza of their headlining bout.

“The Iceman” must apply to have his indefinite suspension lifted by CSAC before he can compete again. Liddell, who turns 49 in December, wasn’t certain of his MMA future following his loss to Ortiz. The former UFC light heavyweight champion hadn’t fought since 2010 before coming out of retirement to compete for the Oscar De La Hoya-led promotion. Liddell has lost by KO or TKO in his last four professional bouts.

Ortiz, meanwhile, was suspended for 180 days unless he receives doctor clearance for a possible fracture to his left shoulder as well as an injury to his left knee. “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” stated the he doesn’t plan on fighting again.
