A welterweight showdown pitting Gunnar Nelson against Alan Jouban will serve as the co-main event for UFC Fight Night 107 in London.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the pairing on Tuesday. UFC Fight Night 107 takes place at the O2 Arena on March 18 and is headlined by a light heavyweight clash between Jimi Manuwa and Corey Anderson. The card will stream in its entirety on UFC Fight Pass.
Nelson was successful in his only appearance of 2016, submitting Albert Tumenov with a neck crank 3:15 into the second frame of their bout at UFC Fight Night 87 on May 8. The 28-year-old Iceland native is 6-2 during his promotional tenure, with his only defeats coming against Demian Maia and Rick Story.
Jouban, meanwhile, enters the matchup on a three-fight winning streak. Most recently, the 34-year-old Louisianan earned a unanimous decision triumph over Mike Perry at UFC on Fox 22 on Dec. 17. Jouban is also 6-2 in the Octagon and owns a 15-4 overall professional mark.
