HBO Boxing Weigh-in Results: David Lemieux, Curtis Stevens on Target

By Mike Sloan Mar 10, 2017

HBO Boxing is set to invade the Events Center at Turning Stone Resort and Casino on Saturday night once again as two premier middleweights will take center stage. Former IBF 160-pound titlist David Lemieux will lock horns with Curtis Stevens in the main event and at Friday’s weigh-ins, both fighters were on point.

Stevens (29-5, 21 KOs), who came up short in his first and thus far only bid for a for world title when he was stopped after the eighth round against Gennady Golovkin three years ago, knows a win is crucial for his career. The New York native looked strong on the scale and came in officially at 158.25 pounds.

Lemieux (36-3, 32 KOs) has won two straight bouts since losing his title, also to Golovkin, in October 2015. The Montreal native is desperate to back into title contention and, like his foe, came in right on the money. Lemieux weighed in at 159 pounds, giving their featured fight the green light.

The action will be televised live on HBO beginning at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT (current odds).

HBO Boxing Weigh-in Results:

David Lemieux (159) vs. Curtis Stevens (158.25)
