Hardcore Championship Fighting promoter Keith Crawford and president Dave Houshiar have formally announced the acquisition of standout 205-pounder "Minotoro" Antonio Rogerio Nogueira (Pictures), who has signed a three-fight deal with the Canadian promotion.

The 31-year-old Brazilian will reportedly see his organizational debut in late Nov., or early Dec. in Vancouver. "Minotoro" is also slated to headline HCF's Jan. 26 event in Calgary. No opponents have yet been named for either scheduled match-up.

Nogueira has not competed in mixed martial arts since Feb., where he was shockingly dispatched of by breakout 205-pound stalwart Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (Pictures). In his absence from MMA, "Minotoro" has worked toward qualifying for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games as a boxer, and captured a bronze metal in the 201-pound division at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro this past July.

HCF has also recently inked fellow PRIDE veterans Aleksander Emelianenko (Pictures) and Gegard Mousasi (Pictures) to compete on their Oct. 19 event in Calgary.
