HDnet Fights has partnered with Strikeforce to televise four of the California-based promotion's events in 2008.

Starting with its first foray outside the Golden State on Feb. 23, live coverage of "Strikeforce at The Dome," headlined by Bob Sapp (Pictures)'s mixed martial arts debut in a cage, begins at 10:30 p.m. ET from Tacoma, Wash.

"This announcement reinforces our commitment to deliver a minimum of 24 [live] events in 2008 and the partnership between HDNetFights and Strikeforce guarantees many great match-ups for MMA fans," said Andrew Simon, CEO of HDNet Fights.

Earlier this week, HDNet announced similar partnerships for 2008 with Maximum Fighting Championships and the International Fight League. The hi-definition subscription network will air three events from each promotion.

On Feb. 22, HDNet offers a live MFC card from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The following Friday HDNet broadcasts the first IFL card of the year live from Las Vegas (11 p.m. ET).

After the two-hour IFL broadcast, HDNet will air a taped smoker from Xtreme Couture in Las Vegas featuring Randy Couture (Pictures)'s wife Kim, Simon told Sherdog.com.
