Walt Harris has failed a drug test in relation to his UFC 232 victory over Andrei Arlovski on Dec. 29.

The California State Athletic Commission first confirmed the positive test to MMAFighting.com. Harris tested positive for the substance LGD4033, which is in the family of selective androgen receptor modules and has been known to treat osteoporosis.

Harris’ urine sample was collected as part of an in-competition screening by CSAC. According to the report, USADA will allow CSAC to handle adjudication of Harris’ case going forward. However, USADA can sanction a fighter based on a positive test found by an athletic commission. Harris has not failed any USADA drug tests, and the fighter and his team have already identified what they believe was a contaminated substance that led to the failed test, per the report.

Harris defeated Arlovski via split decision at UFC 232, which took place at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Including his victory over Arlovski, “The Big Ticket” has won his last two Octagon appearances.
