Alexey Oleynik and Junior Albini will square off in a heavyweight duel at UFC 224.
MMA Today was the first to report the booking. UFC 224 takes place at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro on March 24 and airs on pay-per-view. A headliner has not yet been announced for the event.
Oleynik had a two-fight winning streak snapped in his most recent appearance, as he suffered a second-round technical knockout defeat to Curtis Blaydes at UFC 217. “The Boa Constrictor” began his promotional tenure with victories in four of his first five appearances, including a submission of Travis Browne at UFC 213.
The 26-year-old Albini kicked off his Octagon career with a first-round stoppage of Timothy Johnson at UFC on Fox 25 in July. However, the Brazilian couldn’t keep the momentum going in his second outing, as he dropped a three-round verdict to Andrei Arlovski at UFC Fight Night 120.
