Alexey Oleynik will lock horns with Walt Harris at UFC Ottawa on May 4.
Olyenik has won four of his last five Octagon appearances, including a first-round submission of Mark Hunt in his most recent outing at UFC Fight Night 136. The 41-year-old Moscow, Russia, native is 57-11-1 as a professional, with 45 of those victories coming by way of submission. “The Boa Constrictor” has finished all six of his UFC triumphs inside of two rounds.
Harris would have entered the matchup on a two-fight winning streak, but his victory against Andrei Arlovski at UFC 232 was overturned to a no contest after “The Big Ticket” tested positive for a banned substance. Harris received a received a four-month suspension after it was determined a contaminated substance led to his positive test. He will be eligible to return to action on April 27.
