A heavyweight duel between Jared Rosholt and Alexey Oleinik has been added to the UFC Fight Night bill in Austin on Nov. 22.
The promotion announced the matchup on Wednesday. The card takes place at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas and also includes a pivotal flyweight bout between Joseph Benavidez and Dustin Ortiz.
A three-time NCAA All-American wrestler at Oklahoma State University, Rosholt enters the bout on a seven-fight winning streak. The 28-year-old is 3-0 inside the Octagon, with decision triumphs over Walt Harris, Daniel Omielanczuk and Soa Palelei in his first three outings.
Oleinik, 37, is a veteran of 59 professional mixed martial arts bouts. He made his promotional debut on June 28, submitting Anthony Hamilton with a neck crank at UFC Fight Night “Swanson vs. Stephens” in San Antonio. “The Boa Constrictor” also owns notable victories over Mirko Filipovic, Dion Staring, Jeff Monson and Adlan Amagov, to name a few.
